Organizational Partners

What does it mean to be an organizational partner?

The vision of the OHT is to create a "simplified and coordinated healthcare and community support system for all members of our diverse population". To do this we implement various levels of partnerships with our organization. Organizational partners are health and social service providers to the Ottawa West Four Rivers OHT population or geography. There are three levels of partnership: Anchor, Engaged, and Supportive.
An Anchor Partner has leadership and financial accountability for the OHT and may participate as a voting member of the Collaborative Leadership Committee. They may lead/participate as an Action Team or Supporting Committee member. An Anchor partner should be willing to collaborate on joint initiatives and to share expertise and information to help in improving services of the population. This level of partnership also requires a level of participation in projects and initiatives of the OHT; potentially including financial contributions.
An Engaged Partner will participate primarily as a member of one or more Action Team/Supportive Committee and will contribute to the planning and implementation of the workings of these groups. This type of partner will be expected to provide informed input to the CLC regarding the Action Team/Committee(s) they support. They will also receive updates from the CLC and participate in all member sessions to understand the work being done by the OHT.
A Supportive Partner will not be actively involved in the work of the OHT; they may engage in initiatives that relate specifically to their expertise. This type of partner will stay informed about the OHT via various communications channels. A supportive partner will commit to supporting the vision, values, and priorities but are not tied to the workings of the OHT as much as an Anchor or Engaged Partner would be.
Should your organization be interested in becoming a partner of the Ottawa West, we encourage you to follow this link, and fill out our Partnership Expression of Interest Form below.
